By the Sea Guests is a family-owned inn located in the heart of Dennis Port off of Chase Avenue and a close drive to the center of Dennis, Harwich Port, Chatham, Hyannis, and more where many of the shops and restaurants are.

Beachfront, By the Sea Guests has the largest private beach on the strip with white sands, salty breezes, and soothing waves on the Nantucket Sound.

Most of our rooms include breakfast. Houses and suites do not but can be added in for extra. Free wifi, TV with cable, private bathrooms, outdoor seating areas, a beautiful enclosed veranda overlooking the beach, fire pit, and more can be enjoyed on your beach vacation.

Looking for a small event or wedding? By the Sea Guests still has some availability this season. We actually own two other inns next door for a total of 46 accommodations and can host the actual event or ceremony on-site. In the past, we've done many rehearsal dinners, private dinners or clambakes, beach ceremonies, welcome bonfires on the beach, brunches, and more.

Beachfront, the inn has the largest private beach on the strip. Lined with comfy lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels, this is the place you want to be in the summer to enjoy a special getaway. We pride ourselves on being quieter than many other nearby resorts, although we do attract many small families, couples, and special occasion celebrations.

Shared with other guests, you will have access to the inn's private beach, beach essentials, gas grill, fire pit, outdoor seating areas, and lovely veranda. Breakfast can be added on for an extra surcharge.

Kids love being outdoors in the summer on the beach! Well-behaved children only, as we pride ourselves on being a quieter accommodation.

Area Information

Located in Dennis Port, MA, the inn is located in a safe area and is beachfront. It's close to many local restaurants, shops, and things to do. There are a handful of restaurants that are walking distance during peak season. Most places are a 5-20 minute drive. The Cape is spread out.

Long lines are unavoidable. Go early if you can or just plan to wait during the summer months. Walk around Chatham or Harwich Port while you wait. The shoulder seasons are the perfect time to skip the lines.

National Seashore is a must have see, even if it's just to take photos or a quick walk. Known for its serene sand dunes, big waves, the entire coastline on the outer arm of the Cape (Orleans-Ptown) offer the best panoramic views on the Cape!
