New Silver Beach at its finest! This restored cottage is just 2 houses away from the Tea Room, tennis courts & harbor, and 5 houses to New Silver Beach (Ocean View entrance).
What a wonderful restored cottage, 4 bedrooms all on the 2nd floor, 3 queen beds, and one twin. Please note this cottage is over 100 years old, steps back then were a lot steeper than they are now, so the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are narrow. And, over the past 100 years there has been a little settling... so the floors, newly refinished in 2019, have a slight slope to them!
Everything inside the house is new from 2020 on. New furniture, including a huge living room couch that can easily hold all 7 of you plus friends, a huge natural edge dining table that can hold 10, restored kitchen, all new bedroom furniture including mattresses, new roof and some new siding in 2020.
Every room in the house has window AC units except the bathrooms. New Weber grill June 2020. Large picnic table in the yard, and a fire pit. We have a large 75'' TV in the living room with a Roku - so connect to your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ etc. Note that we don't have cable - just access to your streaming services. Wi-Fi is xfinity.
About the bathrooms... again - old home. Main floor has a small half bath and the only indoor shower in the house. Second floor has a slightly larger half bath. Outside there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower that most people tend to use instead of the indoor shower.
New Silver Beach is an association beach, life-guarded during regular hours, and is a wonderful community. Besides the beach, enjoy harbor jumping, playing basketball, tennis or pickle ball in the recently refurbished courts, get lunch or a snack at the Tea Room (if/when they are open), no need to get in your car! But if you do, so much is nearby including the 11 mile Shining Sea Bike Path! Also OLD Silver Beach - one of the Cape's most popular beaches - is just 2 miles away - but WHY go there when New Silver Beach is a two minute walk?

Why this property? This specific cottage reminded me SO much of the one I grew up in as a summer resident, that I HAD to have it!
